I think they're soundtec? They must be about 13 years old at this point.

I also use them for re-amping. Mix it with the original and hot damn it sounds good.

I'm listening to this on my computer speaker which is at an angle so I can't give any detailed feedback, but the vox sound on summer 2003 is pretty cool!

Well, I know most of these sites also have a "refurb" section.

Whether the things that were too good for refurb get repackaged is new, well, it could happen.

I can't really recall every thinking about opening shrinkwrap on purchases or not, come to think of it...

I can count, but generally don't. I think ultimately it comes down to "feel" - especially in rock. A while ago I did a one-off gig with a song in 5/4 time. The A section was felt as 3+2 (ONE two three ONE two ONE two three ONE two...), the B section was 2+3. The 3+2 A section was a piece of cake bec...

I mean, I already have a couple of nice saturation/analogification/valvulation plugs and it's easy to get carried away with that crap. But boy am I a sucker for a sweet GUI, and this one is really unusual looking. And it's conceptually interesting. Do any of these work? All the ones I tried stunk, ...

I just figure that if we ever see a dem house, senate, and prez, Murcock will suddenly be all about the dem agenda, whatever that is (you got me) If that happens, I would love to watch that happen in the pages of the NYPost. It will be like watching the sky slowly turn neon green. They're going to ...

Well, on the one hand he's right. I mean, I don't know what records he's listening to, but it's very true that every track on pop songs, every song gets maximized and "square waved," as discussed ad nauseum here and everywhere. Also, popular music is now aimed at 13-year olds, not pretentious colleg...

I'm a shameless fan of pop music - Ciarra, Pink, whatever. There's no shame in a good hook, and there's always something interesting in the production if you listen. What even I find shocking is how much I love old-skool freestyle - not the rapping, but the dance music with endemically out of tune v...

Best site to sell downloads of your music?

Haven't looked into iTunes or Amazon yet.

Someone recommended http://www.payloadz.com/ to me, but I'm wary of any company that uses a "z" instead of an "s" in its business name.

Anyone try/know anybody who tried these services?
