Also, looks like the singer Bjork has one as well. http://www.eqmag.com/story.asp?storycode=10568 http://www.nu47.com/samples/choir0.mp3 http://www.nu47.com/samples/choir...

Thanks for the 7110 reccommend. Either/Or sounds so good. And Eliya, your right about the kick and bass they are just like a pillow for my head to lay on. Damn it sounds good. It is hard to describe a sound or texture, but the similarity I hear between those Grandaddy albums and Elliott's Either/Or...

There are different kinds of comps, Vari Mu, Elop, VCA, FET, etc. They are all compressors but some are better at some things than others. What do want the compressor for, guitars, vocals, 2 buss? If you looking for a good vocal, guitar, bass compressor than you might look at something along the lin...

The first thing I would do is spend money on treating your room so you can really hear what is going with what ya got. Try here: http://www.gikacoustics.com/ and here: http://www.realtraps.com/ Having said all of that, I think a good sub that fits your needs is the Tapco SW10: http://www.tapcoworld....

By all means, he asked and you should give him the insider scoop on getting 'er done. I just wanted to put forth my "Don't worry about it" alternative and why I wouldn't. I have been on both sides of that fence though. Some things I want pristine to the point that I will hardly use them so I don't d...

Of course you have to have some serious deeeep pockets but you did say "golden chan...
