Re: OK I've updated the song
I like the song in general, I felt the cymbals to be a lil washy, the snare to be a lil to far out in front, and the vocals aswell, I like the guitar sounds especially on the lil bridge thingy, I would say remix it and a/b it with headphones then monitors and so on, and it will prolly give you a bet...

Re: diy mixing & mastering woes
whats the signal path? I think your problem lies in the card if you are going say straight from your mixer to the card in the comp, if you go into the cards settings and noost them till its loud enuff that should be fine. If you are getting a loss in overall volume and quality that is.I dunno hope t...

Not trying to diss you man, Gear or not im sure you can pull off some decent stuff. but wow, people must be stupid to go for that. You could buy your entire studio on ebay for 2 wee...

Re: i hate when people say if we had pro-tools
doing that stuff with drums is risky stuff anyways, you should know that any thing can happen, the fill can be a different size he could come back in weird, the feel of the fill could be off with the song, there are ways of doing it but it can be a bitch, typicly its alot easier to cut and paste gui...
