I am not sure you can hook that up to the 002.
But I am not 100% sure about that. I would also like to know so anyone out there who would know if and how this can be done please post. Thanks.
Mark.

All went well in the moving it and getting it into my house (it is in my kitchen) - As for how it sounds well I will be posting more on that later because I had a really bad experience in dealing with the people I bought it from and I think I learned a valuable lesson when buying vintage gear that e...

Moving EMT 140 PLATE reverb
I am picking up a EMT plate reverb tomorrow that I just bought and I wanted to know if anyone has any tips for moving it. I saw the tips for moving one on Dan Alexander's web page but I wanted to know if there is anything else I could know that would be helpful. I have a truck with a lift gate, doll...

Altiverb 5 or PLATE REVERB ???
I have almost no reverb for my home studio. I do have some plug in's and I have been re-amping using my Super Reverb but I really want to get something better. So I have been looking into getting a real plate reverb from PLATE-SONICS or the ALTIVERB. Has anyone on used either of these reverbs? ? I t...

Dumping from tape into Computer with pad....
I just wanted to know if when dumping off your tape machine (Tascam-MS16) into Pro Tools through an Apogee DA-16X: Would using the pad across all tracks to prevent any clipping effect the sound of the conversion? Just wanted to know if a pad could make a difference in the sound in this situation... ...

Diferences Pro Tools HD / HD Accel 2,3
I wanted to know what is the difference between a Pro Tools HD system and the HD 2 Accel and HD 3 Accel systems? Other then the prices.
Why are the HD 2 and 3 so much more?
Also do you get any A/D converters with it or is it just a card for your computer.

Re: Recording DRUMS with LESS HI-HAT please....
Thanks for the suggestions.
I was wondering that about ribbon mics. I don't have any but it seems they are used a lot as drum overheads. I need to get one. But in the meantime I will try your other suggestions.
thanks again,
Mark.

Recording DRUMS with LESS HI-HAT please....
I wanted to know if anyone had any suggestions (other than to play lighter on the hi-hats) on how to get less hi hat in your mics when recording drums. I have very little experience recording drums....this is why I ask. I figure there are a lot of people on here with a ton of experience in doing thi...

Re: Vintech Dual 72 or Universal Audio 2108 or something els
I have both and I use them both every tiem I record. The 2108 is an amazing pre that is very versatile (IMO - more so than then the Vintech)
so if you are going to only have 1 pre I would vote for the UA 2108 - but you really can't go wrong with either....

Re: In Search Of OverHeads Help!
KM-84's - these mics are sick! They can really capture all the lows mids and highs and somehow they all sound clear. I got an amazing drum kit sound using just one of these mics about 4 feet out in front and off to the right. 1 mic on a kit and it got everything - you can't beat that.
