That's nothing. 72 hours straight assisting a Mix session. That meaning I was "on the clock and at the studio, and more or less awake for that long" I did take a few necessary naps during that time. I gotta give it up for the engineer, though i caught him napping face down on the faders a few times....

ART makes something that does this. The specs look good, but of course they don't list the transformer manufacturer. Hopefully they're cheap enough to impart just a little bit of color. The price is right.

Building a transformer/color box
I built a few of these boxes with 600ohm to 600ohm transformers and love them on the mix bus. The first one I built was with a pair of Tamura TK1s just stuffed inside a cardboard box, soldered to XLR connectors. The frequency response on these is 50Hz to 10kHz, which you wouldn't think would be ide...

I believe the output transformers are 600 to 600 ohm. You could put a couple of them in a project box with some XLRs and run your tracks or mixes through them for a little of that transformer sound.
