Re: Keyboard Defunctions and What Happened!
It has been discovered, the prblem is being solved. What happened was during transporting it to a show, the bag for the keyboard was full of things and such, and some of them down by the picth wheel. We guessed (that's a lot of work for us) the wheel was thrown out of whack (what is a whack anyway, ...

Re: Keyboard Defunctions and What Happened!
The third thing I thought it might be was the discs he was uploading to his hard drive. I wasn't to sure he had marked the sounds to a tone reference on his board, so they may have came up as they were when he sampled them or how they were on the discs. Thanks for the info though I will check the mo...

Re: messageboard for drummers
Holy Crap! This is such a wierd thread of banter! But hey I am a drummer of now some 16 years of and on. I have picked up a few instruments along the way that I like to mess with but drums and percussion have been the core of my interests since junior highschool. I am stoked that a thread for drums ...

Re: PBR? What the ffffff...hell?
Sorry I got cut short somehow there but still posted. As I was asying, the reason it has probably become most common, is the freakin' price! How many musicians (punk rock or otherwise) don't have a heavy amount of cash flow around, so it's quantity over quality, concepts you can't equate! Trendy, we...

Alright, I am 100% down with Durasound! I'll drink Ranier over the rest of the domestic blahs anyday, but I am a local guy here so I am biased. Outside of the old Ranier, I would have to go with schmidt, it's on tap at the Monkey and it's like 2$ a pitcher. I don't think it's a trend thing, it's pro...

Re: getting the heck out of dodge, where would you visit?
Perth/Freemantle Australia! I was there in May and it was probably the most laid back, and music friendly area I think I have been given the pleasure to visit. There is a little bit of everything there and I dig the locals, they are really alright people to hang with. They like the night life, they ...

Keyboard Defunctions and What Happened!
Alright, How in the F%$ does a digital keyboard transpose on it's own and go out of tune?! I am still perplexed to days after, we rebooted it twice and it somehow through random knob punching worked yet again, but I am not sure as to how it happened. Any thoughts, and advice on what to do if it happ...

Saturday, Clearview, 4 Bands, One frightful P.A. System! Us (10 Lb. Libido) and three other groups rocked Clearview on Saturday August 2nd. I played a kit that wasn't mine, to big (I play a fusion set this was built for John Bohnam if he were 8 feet tall), and our Keyboard players Roland began to tr...

Drummer, Seattle, just want to jam.
I am in a working band already, I really am just looking to work with some other cats on the side to play some different stuff. I play now with a jamband/funk/something group, and I want to play some straight funky, soul, groove music. I would like to do something instrumental, but vocals are fine t...
