i use the hs50m, they are a good pair of monitors. the midrange just opened up for me. i had event 20/20's before that, a big difference. mixes came together much faster. i am in the market for another pair of monitors to A/B with them though. bass can be a little strange sometimes, even with a sub....

yup, always had extra stuff. and if not, at least some wire cutters, electrical tape, and some screw drivers. you could just twist the wires right to the contacts inside the speaker cab on the crossover. well, extra "proper" replacement parts were always first choice, even on a "not so proper set up...

i remember using orange extension cords for speaker cable. way cheaper than buying "real" cables. 16 to 14 gauge worked great. just buy some 1/4 or banana connectors and it worked great. you had to cut off the the ground wire though, didnt really matter, just so it didnt touch anything. plenty of sh...

well, it works good. i used a sytek for make up gain, turned the gain on the sytek to about 3 or so. any higher and i would get a peak light on the aurora 16. so maybe 15 to 25 db for make up gain here. it has more separation than the ITB mixes i have done. i might do a little clean up job on this p...
