I was wondering whether any of you guys that have participated in the ribbon mic group buy have had their money returned after the final blow?

I have 2 of these incoming. If I like what I hear I'll keep these, get another pair and try and get the royer tube mod done to them (I'm not able to do myself so I'll need somebody else to do it for me). Maybe Jim Williams?

I got some hiss on my bass mike today as well

Bass > audix d6 > balanced XLR cable > Presonus firestudio.

It did go away after a while though, I believe.
