I am selling two original MP-1s (later classified MP-1a). These are API style preamps with Jensen Transformers. They sound great and are a bargain at $300 a piece or $550 for the pair.

Look At These Pics to learn what a cold solder joint looks like. Look at your board for that. I'd start by reheating every joint on the suspect channel. Make the solder flow around each connection.
