Thanks. That's a big help.
I'm kind of surprised no one has any endorsements here. No loving reviews?

Wondering if there are any strong endorsements for an iPad4 audio interface yet. It would be swell to sing and play a direct guitar at the same time over a drum machine. Seems like Garageband should suffice for most of my needs, I just need a way to get guitar in there. This looks like I might be ab...

Any recommendations on an Acoustic engineer in Berkeley/SF?
While this is by no means a certainty, due to the legions of people apparently walking around with suitcases full of cash willing to buy houses for more than a bank will appraise, it seems that I might be in possession of an actual grown-up home. Better still, there is an existing detached garage th...

Scott Walker Bish Bosch
How about an article on the new Scott Walker record? It is maybe the coolest thing I have heard since Bone Machine. Unbelievable.
I'm not a fan of the vocal (at all), but everything else sounds mind-blowing.

In Seattle/Portland july12-19th
Going to be in Seattle (actually, I'm there right now) just wandering around and looking for amusement July 12-13 (Friday the 13th!), 16-19, and Portland the 14-15th. Wondering if anyone has any tips on good shows, restaurants, bars, and guitar shops- particularly with cool pedals and a wall full of...

I'm curious- I've owned a Fulltone trem, the Empress, and a slew of others, and I just can't find anything that works for me as much as my amp tremolos. The thing I miss is the sag that happen with a tube bias trem- when you pound out a chord or note, the trem sort of leaves it alone, and become mor...

Just went to their website. One of the guys responsible for this amp (he doesn't seem like the designer, but his name is on it) demoes it. Sounds a bit too much like he's playing open mike night though. After listening to him crack thru few seconds Sammy Hagar-esque hot licks, I gave up on trying to...

In my old band, our Rhodes player used my old, totally unreliable, but super awesome sounding Magnatone 213 combo- the one that Evil Robot modeled their amp after. That vibrato on that amp was mind blowing. Just a hair too quiet for a loud drummer. Been lusting after one of those amps for a while, b...

http://www.bbesound.com/products/stomp-boxes/supa-charger.aspx http://www.bbesound.com/products/manuals/supa_charger_manual.pdf No dice. Annoying that BBE locked their PDF, so I can not cut and paste from it (why does anyone do that?) Outputs 1-4 and 7-8 will output 9v/100mA, or, if you flip the DIP...

voodoo labs power supplies vs Dunlop Brick
They have the new 'Digital' supply now to accomodate the various assorted Strymon and Eventide pedals. My old PP2 has been having some problems with having an El Capistan and an Electro-Harmonix Digital Memory man- when the Strymon is plugged into input 5 (with input 6 empty) the EHDMM won't turn on...

Did I miss this? I have a feeling I did, but I can't find it in any of my back copies.
Been trying to mix my latest effort and comparing the mixes to 'Civilian' really bums me out.
Who produced it? Who engineered it? I bought the record as a download from Merge, so i don't have any liner notes.

Why does the search engine make you wait between searches?
It's annoying, as I am highly unintelligent and need at least two tries to get my search right.
