7 inches are great. they're cheap to get pressed up. get your tracks mastered for vinyl. and check the terms and conditions for test pressings and who pays if you're not happy with the pressing. pressing records is the easy bit -- selling them is the hard bit as getting distribution can be difficult...

I just finished a project (a roland tb303 clone from oakley) and accidentally fed it with 48v instad of 24v. the midi and LEDs work fine, but no sound. No caps blew and no parts show any obvious damage. the PSU seems to be fine. I'm working my way through the schematic taking voltage readings and it...

i carry a screwdriver wherever i go and strip off any nice knobs i come across or buy cheap old gear just for the knobs. although it's hard to get a full set to fit a project.
