Hi, I have a Sennheiser e904 that makes a rattle whenever the drum is struck.

I'm guessing I have to replace the diaphragm, but sennheiser does not carry a replacement. Any suggestions?

It doesn't have to sound identical to original, as long as it sounds good in the end.

I just bought this QUAD 520f off ebay. The noise floor is unexpectedly high, so I suspect this is a capacitor issue. how do I decide on suitable replacement transistors? What features do I look for? which specs need to stay the same?
