Wow, that is incredibly rich sounding. And nice job with your capture, it sounds very controlled. That seriously beats any artificial verb that I've ever heard. I enjoyed the song quite a bit also, the mix is interesting. I like how the cave-treated vox are tucked into the instruments, very cool vib...

Wow, I just found this thread today. I'll be working late, so I can't make it this time. Bummer. I am curious to see who you all are, we probably all have crossed paths and never knew it. Enjoy folks. Count me in next time, maybe I won't be such a TOMBnewb by then. I'll try to get on here more. cheers

Embarrass yourself before you get on stage. When I was a kid I fell off my skateboard, and I was crying and whining. My uncle gave me a punch in the arm, and said, "see, now it doesn't hurt so bad." It made me laugh and the pain would dissolve. Another new thing I learned about taming stage fright, ...

You're aware that it's all pretty tongue-in-cheek, right? I doubt that link will ever be active and if it is, it'll probably just be as the punchline to the joke. yes, I'm aware. After reading the Live Tracking entry I was tipped off, see my first comment. I just wanted to share it with all my stud...

Definitely a great rant. I especially like the Britney part. I am usually a good imagineer, but I am still trying to imagine- but it's not coming I was trying to discuss this rant with some other online folks, but it seems that the www.tapeop.com/honestrecordings link is not active yet. Does anyone ...

I must have gotten lucky, i bought a Toshiba laptop when Vista first came out and I have never had a problem whatsoever with software conflicts or crashing or any other of the mentioned problems. I actually like vista much better than xp. As for the interface, I picked up an Edirol UA-25 and it runs...

OK, I just got my copy, I got kind of worried that I may not get my free copy. I got so nervous, I think I need to get the paid subscription to assure that I get a copy every month. Yeah, the dude was being kind of a jerk. I just don't think he had any valid criticism. If he was a paying subscriber,...

I recently got the Edirol (roland) UA-25. It is surprisingly an excellent choice. The compatibility has just been amazing with my system. It's got phantom, a limiter, and it records up to 24 bit 96khz. And it is metal, very solid. I recommend it. http://www.rolandus.com/products/productdetails.aspx?...

Re: Korg D3200 to PT LE
Hey all. Do I have to do each track individually? Does it separate each track into their own files? Does it make the song one big WAV? Who knows! . I'm not sure if you figured this out yet, but the D3200 exports all the tracks to their own wav file. Just copy all tracks (or just 1, 2, 4, 8, 16 trac...

^^I got the Zappa thing a whole bunch in the other forum. I didn't have the intention, but I guess influences shine through. I hear what you are saying on the criticism thing, it's just nice after being submersed in a song for a long time sometimes fresh ears can help. Sometimes you just have to dis...
