Bass Mics

If you have a good enough Pre and EQ a 57 can do well with both these and you can get very cheap. If not I would suggest the Beta 52 kick. Its the only kick mic that is under 200 thats worth it. or if you are a DIY type of guy you can make your own sub kick with a 8-10inch speaker. But know full wel...

Our bassest made a home made "Leslie" for his bass. He uses an AB switch that goes to a fender GTR head that powers his 8inch speaker. He doesnt use it all the time but he has it set up to slow down and speed up like a leslie with a foot switch and can do some really cool things.

Yea thats what I thought would work. But I guess I am getting left in the foot steps of Engineers dealt with the same issues and from the start of the show had a good sound. But I have been getting better and better and learning "presets" that have helped.

Well you see the band is really good band to be with. They are labeled "Iowa's Band" and are a great name dropper to getting me in places. I get paid shit and it is really stressful but I am meeting and networking like no other with them. So at my age and experience it is best band to be with in Iowa.
