I lost a whole album. I tracked a record this summer with a band from Austin called Tristero. We spent about two weeks tracking 15 songs for the album at my school's studio. I attempted to back up all the files (30 gigs worth) on to one of my drives, and it didn't completely transfer (wacky drive). ...

does anyone own a peluso mic?

I'm sure this has been discussed here in some way, but I can't find anything on it through the search except a thread with an article from NPR on peluso. Does anyone own one? or two? Are you a fan? I'm curious about them, even though I'm broke right now.

I can't offer an A/B, but I do know that the Reddi is the only DI I've ever heard that can come close to the sound of a B-15.

This was a fun exercise. I, like many others, voted for the 414. If the acoustic guitar was all by itself and a present, "hi fi" sound was the goal, it would be the most ideal in my opinion. The EV had a great umm... "iron and wine" sound (guess I could just say lofi), and the groove tubes did indee...
