FS: Gates 6144 Dual Limiter

For sale here is a super clean example of the coveted GATES 6144 dual limiter. A classic vari-mu design that will also work as dual mono. The VU's can be read at a distance of 2 to 3 miles under the right conditions. The beige color works well with any modern studio decor. This thing sounds amazing....

NEI Neptune 341 Mono/ 4 Band Parametric EQ

I stumbled across this equalizer for sale (NEI Neptune 341), as I'm sure most of you Craigslist scavengers have also, but I can't seem to dig up any information about it as far as the Internet goes. So, as it goes, I'm even more intrigued about this piece of gear. Has anyone heard of these? Better y...

It sounded (and felt) like the low end rolled off whenever it was engaged. The remaining fuzz sounded good, sure, but it simply didn't cut it for me. If there is som...

I'd search eBay for something like an ART Dual MP. It's an affordable dual tube preamp, which also has a line input for each channel so you can crunch vocals (or whatever) on the way in, or after you've recorded them.

Do those have an api 2520 in the gain stage?
Nope.

I opened it up and took a few more photos. I'll put them up when I get home tonight.
