Did you put heat shrink over the ends before you closed the connector? That would help isolate the hot and neutral from grounding out. Also you have to spin the shield really tight and tin the end to make sure there are no stray shield frays touching either the hot or neutral anywhere. Continuity te...

Roland cube monitor CM-30 is small and portable. They have volume, hi and low eq and are 30w powered. Those might work for ya.

I have a Tiny Terror and it's kind of dark. Definitely not harsh. 7w and 15w settings are not too much different. But it sounds great through a 4x12.

I also have a brand new ZT Lunchbox I've yet to try, but supposedly is 200w and gig ready.

Ultimate Genesis are nice stands. The low one will support any guitar or bass with a round body. It doesn't hold odd shapes too well, though.

Great! Nice to hear that things are working out for you. Just so that you know, nothing is stable in the full time job world either. They can cut you and ship that job to India in a moments notice and not give a crap. That must be great to find a space not out of the way to set up shop where people ...

That stuff opens up a whole new world of possible uses.

Broadway singers would just wear their mics as part of their costume. No more bulky battery packs.

Spys could listen in on the bad guys in a whole new way.

The possibilities seem endless

Perhaps this thread should be moved to the "Buy Sell Trade" section.

Anyway, this does look interesting.

You might introduce hum into the signal path depending on how the grounding inside the boxes is.

Some of the eBay bidding defies logic.

Many times I have seen used gear, without warranty mind you, go for higher than new from a dealer. WTF? I'll bet some of those bids are by the seller using other id's to drive the price up.

Remember the cold is no good either. I've seen what would be a beautiful sunburst Les Paul with cracks all over the finish. And for godsakes, let the thing warm up gradually. If it is in a case, keep it there. Well believe it or not, there are those who actually want that to happen to their 5K Les ...
