Re: tiny portable stereo world class preamp
Theres a long list though, get more specific on your requirements. dave let's see for requirements..... I'd like a 'classic' switch an 'api' mode a 'neve' mode a 'fuck yeah' mode a 'bitchin' mode and a 'sounds like a tascam' mode guess that's it.... I guess, after all, I meant something that runs o...

Re: Haunted Recording Studio!
OH MAN! One of my favorite topics!!!!! Yeah, I'm in a haunted studio right now. All by myself! I've had faucets come on by themselves twice in one night (two different engineers experienced it). One other engineer here has heard people talking out in the lounge when no one was here and one night we...

The Beatles: Evil and Bad
About a year ago I got a mass email in my box written by the "Five Judges" that declared the Beatles evil. Yesterday I recieved an addendum that tries to prove that not only were they evil, but poor musicians to boot. I'll just leave it up to you guys to pick through this email and point out ...

Re: Where I'm at...
As it stands I'm eating a can of Ranch Style Beans for lunch a lot these days. I'm big on pasta alfredo lately. And I quit grad school to do music. No more free lunches with hotshot chemistry professors. Nyaaaah. If I can't hear/make music (or silence!) all the time, I'd prefer to go deaf. Pass the...

jeff, you're something else. no, i don't get food stamps and you condesention is very lame. music and capitalism are not one and the same. that is something that is celebrated around here often, yet you patently ignore it. some people actually do this because they love it, with or without the money...

The ultimate home studio recording.... what an awesome EVERYthing sound Boston has. I used to wake up to Foreplay/Longtime every day! '...

Re: How do I demagnatize this thing?
There are a bunch of FAQs on the web... If I remember correctly people still debate what a safe distance is to start from the head you're trying to demagnetize. I'd stay back pretty far (7 feet or so) and move in S-L-O-W-ly just for safety. I hope you didn't already switch it on near the head, cause...

If I had to choose for real? Fat Tire, most likely.
I have a bunch of friends who say Fat Tire is overrated...I just laugh at them and think "wow, that leaves more for me!"
