There's not a user manual per se but from the schematics it looks like the effect send/return is electronically balanced using an opamp. Sorry, I don't have extra channels, I just don't want to tear the mixer apart you know? If this doesn't sell in 2 to 3 weeks I'm going to add an API summing buss t...

Tangent 802a - rebuilt, modified 70's mixer, $450 shipped
Price is with shipping in the united states only. I've recapped the entire board with Panasonic FM capacitors and done some modifications that give it a better low end response. The channel strips are totally modular so it is easily repaired or modified. If you're looking for a really wide, quiet so...

JBL 7510A, 16 Channels, $800
This has been recapped with Nichicon Gold, and disconnected from the Gate and Mono Mixer section. The gates are 8 bit and are not desirable sounding any ways. Here are the notes from the original owner/modifier: 'The JBL/Urei 7510A is a 16 XLR in, 16 TRS out, mixer with direct outs. This was intended...

I always wanted one of these consoles.( larger channel count tho').I've always thought ( ) that even though these lower budget consoles made at this time, even targeted for the low end, was actually well designed/made because people cared more about the art/craft than as today just the botto...

Looking for Technician, Live, or Studio work in Dallas area
I'm moving to Dallas in a couple months here and will be looking for work, hopefully something having to do with the audio industry. I'm really pretty much open to anything but would prefer some sort of work doing repairs, upgrades, and modifications - something with a soldering iron. I'm really ope...

Yes I did! funny thing, I tested the voltage to the preamps with a multimeter, and when I turned it on the voltage read 16.78 which is about right, and wasn't fluctuating at all which seems to be good. I did some more work on it last night drilling some extra crap out of the case (this is a 1606b po...

I originally thought I had a power supply issue with my 1606b which is one of the octal based altec mixers, but I tested it and it's working fine, it's just that the bulb inside of the power switch is burnt out. Does anyone know of a type of bulb I could use for a replacement to go inside of this sw...
