I'd be down for a few cold ones. We've hosted at 1935 a couple times and would be happy to do so again, unless folks prefer a bar instead. What do y'all think?

Clearly there's a climate-controlled studio on this island. So in that case, a pair of Telefunken ELAM 251s.

But if all I've got is a grass hut, a generator, and a Portastudio I'll go with a pair of 57s. If I'm living lo-fi, I'm recording lo-fi.

They just played a free show here in Philly on Wednesday in Rittenhouse Square to about 1500 people. A damn fine show. We're lucky to have 'em as our own.

I'd suggest looking up Matt Gaither. He's a drum builder as well as a tech and comes very highly recommended. I can't seem to find his number, but will make sure to IM you when I find it.

There are two things that should be done. 1. De-ess the vocal. 2. If the vocal high end frequencies still splatter the EMT plate, use a LPF on the AUX send TOO the plate.
