Re: vintage reverb tank - am I destroying a rare item?

trashing (or cleaning) anything old, corroded, wobbling, half-working to me (just personally) would be a loss of age, dimension, depth, originality and i don#t know what else. actually so. plus this might be another good reason to get rid of that piece of trash. send it over ;-)

Re: speakers and mics - reversing the roles

headphones. i sang almost a whole album thru a sony headphoneset into a DAW - in mixing stage there was some tight issues to deal with, inconsistent signal level (any move just a tiny bit away from the headphones dramtically lowers level - easy to get there in a rage of singing) - brutal de-essing e...

Re: Acoustic travel guitar recommendations?

Re: Is there really that much difference between 20 and 24 b

i second the "yeah: 4 bits (more)" option. all the rest means using your ears. use pow-r dithering to get to 16bit in the end in any case. don#t just cut the overflowing 8bit off.

Re: Black Akg C1000's Anyone know of these...

These kids were tuned down to Cb or something, and I was able to get a really killer, full, but controllable bass sound with the black C1000. was that bass on ...
