Re: Valley People Dynamite Manual?

The closest that I was able to find so far was a guy trying to sell one for $20 (fuck that), and the manual for the 433, which I am totaly assuming is the close to the ones that we own. it is located...

rowdy roddy piper from canada in spandex doing cheesy 80's music with bad samples/synths, and the worst mullet I have ever seen.
ok, now that said, I could not do it.
i'm strangely amazed, and sick to my stomach, all at the same time.

Re: Cleaning the soundcraft
For pops and crackles in potentiometers you can use electronics cleaner. It's best done inside of the board itself due to a small hole (generaly) on the side of the pot. Spray the cleaner in while turning (vigorously) the pot. When I was making a living repairing laptops, cleaning of the logic board...

Re: Will a laptop work for a PCI based soundcard/interface?
It's actually PCMCIA, and technically it is a PCI chipset, however the connector and form factor is different. It is also know as cardbus. There are PCMCIA (which stands for People Can't Memorise Computer Industry Acronyms :) to PCI adapters available, although they are very costly. You are much bet...

Re: Computer monitor/display for a mac
The apple monitors look great but are DUMb expensive! I got a Samsung 17" LCd from a company in Cali called newegg.com. Totaly righteous people, fast, and cheap. It was $500 with shipping to get it here quick. It mounts on a wall or an arm with a VESA style connector plate. It is bright, detailed, a...

I am thoroughly enjoying the track. Sony does not know what the fuck they are doing. For crying out loud the track would be EXCELLENT in a movie sound track. What Sony does'nt own a picture company? Of course they do. Anyone who is recording music with LIVE musicians playing oboe, basson etc get's m...

Dude, the more ram the better. It should be fine though. You will be limiting yourself as far as plug ins, but that will probably just alow for a little more taste.

Re: Subharmonic Generators?
Maxx Bass rocks, and if you realy want to check tihis stuff out look for some of the old DBX Sub Octave synthesizers. They were marketed for the home stereo market in the 70's and 80, and therefore most of them have -10 RCA jacks. They can be modded, and sound great. Use sparingly.

Lexicon pcm-80 or 90. The Sony R7 is nice too, though a little less useable.
