Your advice is great. Recording lead 3 times and panning it L-C-R gets me closer to what i want. Still, I can't replicate the octave higher backing vocals. I listened to it through the motherboard soundcard that has this built in "karaoke effect" that cancels out the center and I can hear really lus...

Thank you for replies Is it possible that there are two different takes of lead vocal panned left and right?
