What a loss. A true pioneer of absolutely original creativity. He will be missed along with all the other greats that passed this year. What a sad year to lose Vic, Mark, Alex, now Don. :(

Thanks for all the great stories and clips guys. Thay have really helped me feel a little better. As for stories I have a few I think you all might enjoy. Although I never met Mark face to face, which I knew I would have at some point, I had a couple lengthy telephone calls with him starting from wh...

I'm at a loss. Im in shock... Such a great musician and genuine guy... I owe so much to him in terms of my music influence, geez even his guzzi knowledge. He was my hero. I pray his family/friends will be comforted. What a sad day for music, and true gentlemen. He will be sorely missed. God bless hi...

Hi everyone, I was the one who posted a while ago about my lion X , and a Boss DM-2 pedal that I had sent to John to repair/mod and never got them back. I had talked with John and sent him my pedals and then kind of lost communication with him a few months after sending them. After a while, I was a ...

Yeah schumann stuff is pretty great. I love the pll. I got my hands on a schumann lion x after quite a bit of searching. There was a chip blown out of it and I did get a hold of John about it. He was a really nice guy and told me he could fix it for $100 and told me to send a list of other stuff to ...

Thanks for all the insight Joel! Just in case I don't find a local who fits the bill for a correct repair, would you have anyone in mind that might take on small repair like this, who wouldn't change all the crazy wrongness with the pedal?

It acts the exact same in the link and split modes. I don't tell much difference with the normal and Aux outputs either. Does this look like a later version of a lion then Joel? Any electronics guru that might be able to figure out if there is just a bad connection of some type? Seems like it could ...

Hi Joel- Thanks for your help. I figured something was wrong with the drive knob. I bought it from a guy in Chicago who told me he bought it at Main Drag, and they told him it was the last lion x they had. He told me he never completely figured out how all the knobs interacted. It is #18 and I'm goi...

Schumann Lion X Help

Hi Everyone- I know a few have a lion X here. I recently bought a used lion x, and I'm wondering if it isn't working 100%. I'm not sure if the previous owner knows a lot about the history of it either. The drive knob doesn't seem to affect anything, and the clean knob acts as the only volume knob on...

Tascam 388 & Signal Flow Help

I recently got a Tascam 388 in great shape, and am looking to get going with it. I'm a little confused with the best signal flow for it, and although I don't have tons of stuff to be confused with am looking for some help in terms of how to set it up to it's fullest potential. I'm awaiting the manua...

This auction was ended a few days ago, but I haven't ever seen one on ebay before. Tom waits has a music master like this one, from what I hear. I have a mellotron MK VI with a rack that has Chamberlin flutes/Chamberlin Female voices. They do sound more vibrant/alive than some of the mellotron equiv...
