Pretty boring musically, but sounds really good. Reminds me of Old Man Gloom.

Holy Grail and DL4 reboot trick.

So in 2005, I bought a classic Holy Grail reverb and in 2006, it died. I didn't know how or why it died but I kept this pedal around for eight years thinking I'd meet someone who could fix it or maybe I'd do it myself. Anyway, I recently found out how to reboot some reverb and delay boxes and figure...

that is a very worthy goal, but how are you gonna feed yourself and pay bills if you're recording for free? even if you are fortunate enough to have a big trust fund, i'd say you should still charge something....your time and experience are worth something, and if you don't value it no one else wil...

Re: Fighting Discouragement

I think you should evaluate what your goals are. If you're trying to "make it" in the music business and you feel that your product is not up to snuff, then that's one thing. Thanks for the uplifting words. I sometimes analyze way too much and get overwhelmed. Anyway, I'm new to the board. My name is Eric and I'm from New Mexico. I found this place through the Electrical Audio forum, but I don't post there because it's such a circle jerk.

Fighting Discouragement

Have you ever heard a recording so bad that you wanted to sell all your gear and hide in your apartment until you die? I should have been motivated by it. I should have heard it and thought of all the ways I could have done it better. But I'm just so discouraged at how easy it is for knuckleheads to...
