Trying to figure out which tape formulation to use with the TEAC 3340. I had been using SM468 on 7" reels. About to move up to 10.5" reels and am wondering whether to stick with the 468 or go to LPR35.

Any insight/experience would be appreciated!

Thank you guys. My plan would be just to use the EQ/Panning/etc when using the portastudio as a mixer. I wouldn't be running it through the cassette.

With a Tascam Portastudio 424 MKII, is it possible to do a mix on the unit and output the four discrete channels without losing the sound of the mix.
