Also, don't forget that Pro Tools can be run on a PC as well for the cost of an extra headache or two. I've been running Pro Tools LE (digi 001) for a few months now on PC(AMD,WinXP) and it's rock solid. Setting it up took as much effort as getting a Gina sound card to work with Sonar on my old sys...

Bert - The mastered versions are louder ... crisper highs, more defined mids, tighter lows. They did an excellent job. Congratulations on a great project!

Sonar should let you pick what outs you want for each track. Just make sure you can see it in the hardware setup.

Who's to blame? Both the engineer and the assistant...think deeply about your role in the control room. I started assisting on this session after the the files were lost. If I had been there from the get-go I would be saving and checking files on breaks and after the session. I'm a computer tech......

I think the freelance engineer screwed up and didn't save the files right. He probably trashed them at some point during the original session. Nobody really knows. Those files are gone.
