Denial, As I said: I HAVE a latch lake stand. They fully rock. The double clutched swivel, and the base is awesome, all the hardware is made for use by a human hand for once... the list goes on. For the studio and an expensive mic nothing beats the Starbird now sold produced by Manley Labs. Check out there website. It is so solid that someone could swing from it. I have been on the search for the best stand money can buy. Having checked out the Manley Starbird was a major dissapointment. Haven't used a Vintec but I own both original Neve 1073's and some of Brents and they are amazing. IThey are so close that you'd never pick the difference between them. They are built exceptionally well and the service and support is the finest in the business. I'd recommend getting the 1084 over th...
