i know this may sound ridiculous, and it very well may be, but i thought about doing
the same "mod" to this 18" pioneer speaker i have had forever.

would that be a little too pimped out?!

as far as the diode goes it's new. brand new. i.e. i got the thing in the

oh yeah a few observations/surprises concerning my experience on these mods: with the second channel i.e. successful mod i found that pin four was connected to ground and not the ac side like the directions stated. vice versa for pin five. for me a bit ironic seeing how the badly wired channel sound...

as far as info. on this mod goes. i just basically googled it. that is propably the best way.
