Send the rapper to a good producer first.. have the producer creats "beats" then have them come back to record vocals and what not.. Unless you are into the beat creation yourself, its better to throw it over to someone that does that kinda thing..

Yeah, i think I see myslef creating one from scratch in my future.. I have tried sessionlog.. it kinda blows!! and the old notebook thing is just getting out of hand.. I think I still want to stick with good old paper and pen.. I just want a standard form that has three holes and can be put in a 3 r...

Hi, a bit of topic..
Im looking for some standard froms for keeping track of sessions..
Ie. customer name, date, # of tracks, mics used, notes, etc....
Im retarted and cant create one on my own, and was wondering if anyone has anything I can slightly modify??

check out the Digi Pre .. you can pick one up from ebay for around $1,500 ..
It is a very clean, true pre.. I actually reach for it a lot nowadays..

A session this weekend got me thinking (scary) .. A drummer brought his own headphones.. They were these huge vic firth isolating headphones.. Cool! .. I have had on many occastion, click track bleed into the mics thru my sony headphones.. Not really inteded to start a headphone thread, but just cur...

correct.. when you save the session in 6.1, save it as a pro tools 5.0 session and it should load fine on your os9 machine..
