I am an analog guy, no automation, so mixing can be a real bitch. I have to get it right from beginning to end. Just run a long 1/4" speaker cable to the cab. Leave the head in the control room. If it's a combo amp, you can get away with a pretty long high quality cable. Try it either way, I don't think you'll have a problem.

Alesis HD 24, if you like the adat, you'll love the HD 24. No daw necessary. You probably can't get much out the adat, and you can dump all your projects over to HD 24 very easily, and add to, or edit them much easier than with adat. The two machines are very compatible. Keep the adat at least until...
