hey ya'll, i'm considering buying a cd printer for work. we send out burned DVDs and CDs 10 times a week and i figured it might make more sense in the long run to print directly to cd/dvd rather than a label and create all that excess waste. the thing is i have no idea what i should buy! anyone have...

goddamn! $113 from otari, $85 from jrf. athan.com doesnt work. that's alot of money for me to spend. this blows.

i guess i have no choice unless someone has a busted machine they'd like to sell for parts.

i just got an otari mx5050 1/2" 8 track. it hadn't been used in 10 years and as i was recording over the weekend the transport started acting up. i noticed that one of the rubber pinch rollers was severaly sticky and would leave a residue on my fingers if touched. is there a way i can save the rubbe...

so the hi speed is 15 ips not 30? very interesting. what setting should i use? we're an early radioheadish sounding band.

my band and i are recording a demo this weekend on an otari 8track that i got last weekend. my question is how long can i record on one standard size reel of tape?

these are all great suggestions for my bands needs but what about my ob? what do the pro studios use? aremt there solutions out there?

i work for a small office with a few macs running office. the problem is we can not open up more than one copy. does anyone know the work around for this with out spending money?

ive found some serial numbers on mlmac but havent tried them out. i figured tha might make things worse

i'm a pc dude, and pretty damn good at it. however, i have a friend who would like to transfer files from a g4 to an ibook with out spending money. the g4 has no cd burner. i have one in my pc. i was thinking of popping mine in to burn the data to a cd. if i do that will i need to install some sorta...
