$2500 sounds expensive to me

i mighty be mistaken, but i dont think thats a modular board....for that kind of scratch you'd want individual channels.


just my opinion, which my wife dutifully reinforces is always incorrect.

dont use a single 2x6 plate, use two 2x4's leave a gap between them, and stagger your studss off those, weave your insulation horizontally thru the studs creating two walls which are one. less sound transfer thru the wall. for cheap you can get those celotex(sp?) sound boards at home depot. great fo...

i understand why some of you cats are called engineers, i need a phd to figure out how to calibrate my otari mx 5050 mk111 1/2" 8tr. this might be a dumb question but here goes..... when calibrating record bias & record level, at what "analog clock" position should my input gain be at? full bore? 12...
