Re: Secret Chords

Re: Latest gear you've acquired.....

Jupiter intermediate alto sax on craigslist, JAS-769GN, made in Taiwan in 2006, in great shape, with case, strap, mouthpiece and extra reeds, for $20. Insane. The Yamaha 4C mouthpiece it came with is worth more than that. I'm not sure yet if I like it better than my Yamaha-made Vito, but it plays we...

It didn't occur to me until you asked that that I should've made that clear... I'm sorry if it appeared otherwise. I just figured it would be assumed, but it's not good to assume.

Re: new toy/tool for guitar, bass, uke, mandolin...

If you tighten that up and develop it into a piece I'll add a link from the site if you want. Ah wasn’t my intention to suggest that was anything more than a recording of me within the first moments of trying it out. I’ll let you know if I end up using it on a film cue but that recording will certa...

Re: Herman Poole Blount

I've read Forces in Motion. I own a copy. I'm a big fan of Braxton's music, and I met him when he was a visiting artist when I was in grad school. He's close friends with one of my professors at the time. But, yeah, the shtick thing... there's an audio recording of one of Sun Ra's lectures from when...
