Go to the Harry Fox Agency and click on the "Public Search" button. They handle the Johnson catalog: http://www.harryfox.com/public/songfile.jsp For under 2500 units, it's pretty cheap to get the permission to record and release the song. From the HF website: 1. What is the current statutory mechani...

A cool interview with Sam (note his "imperfectly perfect" goal). In a world where we have to edit in talent a lot of times, it's refreshing to see it wasn't always like this. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WG9fs7qnBoY&eurl=http://profile.myspace.com/index.cfm?fuseaction=user.viewprofile&friendid=439...

My questions for this system are: 1. How the hell do you compress the queen size mattress down to the 3.5 inch width of a 2X4? It's a mattress pad not a mattress. 2. Where is the soundboard? Underneath the foam? Underneath the plywood? It appears that the layer of soundboard is under the plywood, t...

Re: Neotek Series 1 Schematics?

I'm looking for Neotek S 1 input channel schematics. Anyhow has them? thanks, eliya Join the Neotek mailing list. I'm sure someone there can help you. http://www.analogbros.com/neotek/listinfo.html If not, you can always get them from Mike Stoica at Sytek, but he charges for them. Cheers, -- Don

Crown made some of the Radio Shack PZMs, so I'm sure it will. Just shoot an email to the folks I linked and they'll tell you.

Have any of you put off gear purchases due to current conditions? Yes, but I've also come to realize that if I can't make a decent recording with the great gear I have then it isn't the gear's fault. I've stepped out of the "hype vortex" that seems to plague this industry when a new product, new so...

Well, in addition to running my studio, I do piano tuning/tech work, electronics repair, custom bass guitar pickup winding, and some custom woodworking, so I keep busy. Actually, September was the busiest month I've ever had since going self employed a bit over three years ago.

Check the local yellow pages or do a google search in your area for electric motor repair. Even small cities seem to have at least one company that does this.

BTW, does the armature turn easily?
