I like to start with the kick drum and move it around until I find the spot where it's got the most oomph. Does any one have an opinion on this? Do the Nickel finised Beyer M160's sound any different from the Black ones? Does any body know if that means they're of a different vintage? I've been watching for some and wondered if any one has a prefference.
