Selling OSA MP1s to a friend - pricing question
I'm going to sell a pair of OSA MP1 (As I think) to a friend, and I have no idea what would be a fair price. The sell new for $550, and while I know they don't really depreciate much, I do want to cut her a deal. Suggestions? Thanks.

frankly, you'll probably get better results replacing the speaker with anything but a Peavy. It is most likely your horn driver. If the woofer was blown, you'd have the opposite problem. The sound would be very thin and nasty with no meat or bottom end. Peavy cabinets are designed to be easy to mai...

Also, the wattage rating of the speaker should be taken into consideration. The wattage rating on a speaker is the max wattage it can take. You can replace it with a speaker of the same rating, or higher (sometimes lower, but you are taking a chance of blowing it out at high levels) Speaking of whi...

Speaker Replacement - DIY?
So, the Peavey floor wedge we're using for rehearsal has a bad 15" speaker in it. I went down the street, and the guy wanted $140 for speaker and replacement labor. I don't have $140. Wiring wise, it looks like there's nothing to it. But, the guy mentioned something about sealing the speaker? How do...

Importing Logic files to PT
I've done this before, but it's been a long while. I've got a Logic session with bits of audio everywhere, and I want to make all the tracks have single, uniform length of audio to make the exporting to PT easier to line up. Like the 'consolidate audio' function in PT. I did this around three months...

Yeah apple needs to get off the high horse and let someone make some recording devices to work with the ipod. Looks like that's currently happening. Whatever comes out, though, it had better have a line in...I don't want to have to use the actual microphone, I want to use my nice stereo condensor. ...

In theory, yeah, that should be fine. But honestly, I have no idea. Never done it. To be totally honest, there are some things that I'm told just can't be done properly in logic, like bussing drum tracks to two stereo auxes. I asked around everywhere about this and never got a good answer. This stuf...

SO since LOGIC and Mac are under one proverbial roof... shouldn't they just ROCK together? Yes, but not with the 002. I've got the 002R, and I can only safely record (w/o clikcing type noises) at 512 buffer size. This causes latency issues that I can't deal with. So, I've found the combination to b...
