I can attest to the fact that the GT-44's are underrated, or at least sleeper, mics. I have one that I like a lot. So a friendly bump in case people don't realize that a pair with a trifecta of capsules for $500 is an awesome deal (in good condition, of course).

One thing I look for is the pattern made by the unit depths on the back of the rack so that no one unit's I/O is hard to get to with a shorty between two deep ones. I get used to anything else.
