Any stagehands out there? Find the donut diologue pretty funny? Heeeheee. Oh I think they are usually Krispy Kreme. It is a requirement on a lot of shows we work on that we get a coffee break with donuts 2 hours into our shift. At least in Minneapolis anyway!

Re: SF SOUNDWORKS Seeks Budding Engineers for Internship
Hey you've got a point. Though I have to say after a pounding the pavement in L.A. this week a little too much perseverance and they almost call security. An L.A. etiquette tip: handing in your resume in person is not the done thing.

It is great to open a dialogue about what is going on especially when it is funny. Yeah oppose the opinion if you want but PLEASE HAVE AN opinion. Why doesn't "wing" think they are assholes?

Check out I.A.T.S.E. Local 1 union in NYC. They are all about the live and you will NEVER get treated like doodoo. The pay is regulated (upwards of $20 p/hour) and you will get benefits and free donuts on jobs.

Re: What mics are great for female vocals?
P.S. Royer R122 is a ribbon/condenser hybrid. Her voice has some body to it. The Royer really accomodates a lot of that with a well rounded yet unaffected sound.

Re: What mics are great for female vocals?
You could be amazed at the results of just a simple SM58. If you can get your hands on a Royer R122 you won't be dissapointed. I have been amazed a lot at how great the Shure SM 58 is on vocals.
