We have complete original blueprints and user manual for the C-20 (as well as a few other Melcor schematics) and are in the process of racking several for another Mass. based studio. The C-20 requires at minimum, a Melcor CC-20 control panel (meter, time constants) and T-type input attenuator to com...

On the JLM, black goes to the primary and green is the CT, (it's hard to see from the jlm wiring picture online). JLM is pretty fuzzy in the input transformer color codes, shows several different pinouts on schematics, (some with missing wire colors), and the color codes do not conform to the stand...

Looks like you got it solved, but here's what I posted on the Orphan Audio ADM forum in response to your question: http://cms.orphanaudio.com/index.php?id=86,0,0,1,0,0 According to the wiring you show above, it shorts out one half of the mic transformer input coil (and phantom power) to ground, and ...

Re: Explosion and Fire at Burbank dubbing studio?
I was inside on monday after the fire and recovered the Euphonix System-5 control surface for the owner. The B stage itself, miraculously survived with only the rear wall and 30 feet of roof destroyed and 4 to 6 inches of water on the floor. With the exception of the gear in the racks behind the Eup...

Re: former spectrum studio console headed for the dump - HAL

If my info or parts can help you get your beast running, I am happy to help. Send pix of the console and the inside of the modules and I can help you...

Re: Consoles in the $5-$10k range
If you want a simple project for cheap, I have a customer with 5 (count em') Neotek Essence consoles, loaded 12 in and 24 monitor (excellent eq). 1 frame has no inputs but is good for parts. You can probably make two complete consoles from the lot and customize to your hearts content with the spares...
