Vocal = jack the preamp gain, eat the mic, lower the output
BG Vocal = lower preamp gain, step back from the mic, jack the output

Your lead vocal shouldn't have any problem cutting through the mix after that. THEN use compression to taste.

Hello everyone, I am trying to find where I can purchase one of the board sets for the Royer mod. Are there still boards floating around?
