Behringer ADA8000 & 002R: Clock Settings

I have a Behringer ADA8000 that I sometimes but rarely use with my 002r, usually for a friend to transfer tracks from a friends DA88 into Pro Tools for him. Everytime we get together to do a transfer I always forget what settings I should use. Can anyone remind me? I'm using the ADA8000 as a slave r...

Anyone here have their 3 - 4 year old Dual G5 Die?

My 3-year old (January 2006) Apple Dual 2.0 G5 died a couple of weeks ago. After only three years of flawless service it just wouldn't start one day. Black screen and fans kick into TURBO 747 Mode. Took it to the Apple Store and after trying some fixes the genius diagnosed it as having a bad logic b...

Wel I since doing some research I have found out that this seems to be a pretty commone occurence among people with G5's of that era. Right around the 3 year mark either the processor, the board or both, goes. There is a very informative discussion about this here http://forums.macworld.com/thread/1...

Finally took the G5 to the Apple Store

Finally got around to take the G5 to the Apple Store, the guy at the Genius Bar tried to start it, nope....same issues I'm having. Tries to re-set the pram......nothing. Opens it up and tries a bunch of things, removing the additional third party RAM, mix and matches it. I kept mentioning possibly r...

Try counting the cymbal crashes. You will be amazed at how few cymbal crashes are on that record. Big reason that the snare sounds so great on that record is the lack of cymbals. Kenny Buttrey is a really great drummer. I've come to realize that I hate cymbals. Ok, that may be a bold statement but ...

EZ Drummer, MIDI Notes and Pro Tools

So, I built a song around some MIDI patterns in EZ Drummer, I dragged them onto the MIDI track and it all worked fine. Now, I got back and realize I'd like to maybe tweak it a little, change some fills, swap out some of the grooves etc... Now the trouble starts. Sometimes I grab a fill from the EZ D...

I had almost EXACTLY the same experience. I eventually got my order, more than a month after I placed it.

Relax, you'll get your stuff. Don't buy from them again.

Does Anyone Have Experience With The M-Audio IE-20 XB's?

I've been thinking of getting some in-ear headphones and I remember one of the guys from M-Audio talking up the IE-20 XB - High-Precision Professional Reference Earphones with Enhanced Bass. At my day gig I have to listen to a lot pre=recorded music, on shitty company suplied headphones, plus it mig...

Musicians Friend Problem. Anyone Have An Executive's Contact

I bought something from Musicians' Friend in the begining of February, it qualified for a 3 months same as cash promo offer. Someone at Musician's Friend screwed up and HSBC is charging me $35.49 in late fees and finance charges. I've called MF three times now, and everytime they say the will be tak...
