Oh, good lord, please don't think I was trying to imply that anything below 60 milliamps is safe. There's all kinds of factors (primarily biological/ physical) that I can think of that would allow a smaller jolt to be fatal. Notice I disclaimed that this was from memory and gave a fairly broad range...

PT "Access Violation"

So lately while recording (I think it's generally tracking, I don't remember if it's happened while mixing or not), my screen goes all haywire and get's jumbled. An error message pops up that simply says "Access Violation" and has a box to hit OK. No error number or any other identifying information...

It's been a while since I've done reading on this, but if I remember correctly, 60 - 80 milliamps across the heart is what will do you in.

The voltage is much less significant.

I know what you're talking about. This seems to happen if I've changed the wave form height/ size at some point. When I copy and paste a track it seems to default back to the original wave form size (hence the smaller appearance of the copied section). It does not appear to affect any part of the tr...

...which leads me to wonder why you'd be trying to run your bass through the Behringer? I used a 4110 on my last session and it was KILLER. I say stick with that bad boy.

Sorry I don't have a solid answer for you since I'm not a Nuendo user, but is there a way that you can set up a group? I know in PT you can set up edit and mix groups that when selected any function that you do to one of the tracks, affects them all. Just out of curiosity, what do you mean by stack ...

Instrument is an amazing film. Jem Cohen did a fantastic job shooting, editing, etc. Quite the document of one of the most amazing bands ever. Everyone who's ever been in a band needs to watch it. If I remember correctly, the soundtrack is a collection of demos, outtakes, audio sketches etc. It's al...

fireflies!! I don't think you're too far off. I keep hearing rumblings that the chemical that makes their butts light up has now been synthesized and prototypes of screens (computer, tv, etc.) are using it and working through the kinks. Apparently, they can be rolled up, they're so thin. Could be a...

What version are you running, and are you trying to fix a whole track at once or just a line or two here and there? AT 5 is a bit different from 4 (I don't have and experiance with older versions). I do agree, that graphical mode is the way to go to preserve the bulk of character in a performance. Q...

I've had good luck with the 5 pack deal I got from BSW. They're definately not heavy duty stands, but if you take care of them, they work well.

I think it was 5 for $90 if I remember correctly.

I'm way too excited that I get to go this year. It was my wife that insisted that I go. She's coming too, and got the guest pass.

She's cool. I'm a lucky man! This will be serious geeky fun.
