(+5 CV stuff) more hairbrained Morse Key-Code things.
Hey doods. So a while back I was enquiring as to how to hook up a basic morse code key to a Doepfer A-100 in order to act as an on/off switch for the singals coming from my synths. I got it all working wonderfully and have implemented it into my live show easily. It sounds great, but I think I need ...

Ok, so I think I got it somewhat sorted. The Key only operates as a switch. When I use it to pass current to a 9v battery, hooked up to a small LED it will pass light when engaged (duh). I know the switch works fine. I guess what I need to know now, is how can I interface this switch to pass generat...

E. Is this one of the newer digital models or older cassette ones (I can't remember the names well, but distinctly remember that on the cassette models that you had to enable the machine with a switch for either a playback or recording mode...)? I can only assume that Tascam would have kept this fea...

principles of a basic (J-47) morsecode key?
I recently found a j-47 key (with no powersupply or anything like that) but it seems to have all connections intact. I couldn't find any documentation for the unit anywhere on the net, but there are plenty of pictures of the unit, so I can only assume that it was a popular model. Ideally I would lik...

Anyone in the know about Otari MTRs?
I need to know the specifics involved in a tape lift mechanism repair, as mine has stopped working (alternately, can someone hit me with a PDF of the MTR10 Manual?)

sup RJ. (edit, whoops, i only saw the first page of this thread, other people here have a bit better insight here...). Yeah man, looks like it has some OpAmp action, which would expaint the voltage problem. Best bet is to just do a net search for the pinout on the module, or to try contacting one of...

Hey Guys, thanks for the responses... Actually, I think I have it figured out.... Midi sends from the MPC at 96ppq, which is a very quick triplet when you break it down into bars... which would explain the weird timing. I think I just need to get the clock divider module and run it between the 190 a...
