Mine arrived today and so far I think it's great! Hearing 6-string chords with every string sent to it's own distortion plug-in sounds so huge. I can't wait to plug into 6 real amps at once and blast away in the room. Here's what I'm thinking of trying with my available amps: E string (low) -> Marsh...

If you have a choice between 17" and 19" LCDs, go for the 19". They tend to have the same optimal resolution of 1280x1024 so the 19" is much easier to look at. My first LCD was a 17" and hated having to choose between small clear text or big blurry text. I'm much happier with my current 19" LCD. But...

I'm using it! I've had it for about a year and I love it. I used to have an Aardvark Q10 that I liked the sound of but it crashed my computer pretty often. The Lightbridge is much more stable and M-Audio at least keeps their drivers somewhat updated over time. I'm using it with Sonar but I originall...

Yeah, I'm a big Matthew Sweet fan and I got it. I listen to it quite often but the mix is kind of strange. SUPER loud vox and on some songs it's really distracting to me. Like on "It's All Over Now, Baby Blue" you can hear some significant ducking on the music when Susanna's vocals are at their loud...

While the sound quality isn't great (brittle sounding vox and cymbols IMHO), I'd have to say that it sounds better than anything he's put out in last 10 years. The Machina stuff sounded really fuzzy (in a bad way, maybe fizzy is a better description) and overly busy to me. The Zwan record was also d...

Are you still looking for someone to share a recording space with? I'm moving to Portland in June and although I have plans for building a space on my property, it might not work out and I may need to record elsewhere. Sharing a rented commercial space with some people may be the way to go for me...
