All I want for Christmas ....

...is the new TapeOp. Haven't gotten it yet, and I usually get it long before it goes up on the TapeOp.com website.

For those of you got it already, when did you get it? I'm afraid my wife mmay have tossed it along with the 19,642 catalogs we got in the past 4 weeks.

Not to get off topic, but that sounds like it has an interesting story behind it.

Ditto, which is I have asked repeatedly (and have been turned down repeatedly) for the CD reviews online. I read all these great CD reviews but forget the bands' websites by the time I am at a computer.

FS: TC Helicon Voiceworks

TC Helicon Voiceworks, barely one year old, used maybe 3 or 4 times. It is in my rack but I just don't seem to be using it, so it's time to unload it.

$450 (well below list price); buyer pays actual shipping.

Any interest, PM me.

Build in a sabattical at some point - maybe after 9 months, maybe a year, maybe after 15 months - where you take an extended period of time off and away from each other. It will keep you from being burned out. Realize that next to being married, being in a band is the most complicated relationship t...

I went in my studio today, and played a little guitar, which is the first time since April 1, when Little League season started. I am the coach of my son's team, and Little League takes a ton of time. The break has been good - I played better and more creatively this morning - but it is a great exam...

This is an interesting situation.Does anyone have any solutions? I just got this email from my contact: While I was the liaison for the --- band, coordinating activities and so on, the service was provided to the --- band. The --- band is the entity that was to receive service, not me. That would b...

Ha!! Great point. I get calls all the time from people all hopped up to sue, and when I tell them my rate, their enthusiasm disappears quickly.

The form of business you choose is usually the result of two things: One, the amount to which you need to limit yourself from liability, and two, tax issues. You can be a C Corp, an S Corp, an LLC, an LLP (quirky), a general partnership, or a joint venture. If you don't choose a particular form, you...

I'm a lawyer. I haven't handled anything like this, but here are my two cents: In order to prevail on the theory that the completed work sucked, I think Plaintiff would have to prove that the Defendant either severely deviated from the industry standard of care in the finalized product, or breached ...
