Sending PT files to be mixed

Hello, I am sending my Pro Tools sessions to be mixed by multiple producers/mixers and was wondering what was the norm. I am burning the files to DVD. Should I send multiple playlists? There are 50 + tracks with tons of automation and effects/plugins. Should I print all the effected tracks along wit...

Audio Converter Programs

Hi, I have been very busy backing up all the useless formats from days past. Zip Disks, ADAT, DAT tapes. I was wondering if any one knew of a free program that could convert MPC/SND files to WAV format?

DAT R.I.P.

Hello, I bought a Sony DAT tape recorder in the mid-nineties and have documented all of my musical ideas on this machine for a good eight years. The machine broke and I cannot get it working. I have taken it to numerous repair places spending way more than the machine is worth. Turns out the tapes I...

REVERB AND LOW LATENCY MONITORING WITH PRO TOOLS LE

Hi, I am working at a recording studio with a Digi002 and I have been trying to find a way to give singers a reverb signal while in low latency monitoring mode. I create an aux input chanel but the sends are defeated while in tracking mode. Does anybody know a succesful way to track in low-latency m...

I figured it out! When I was listening back to my CD through Itunes I had the sound enhancer on. There was no actual bleed. Sound enhancer in Itunes is the culprit. Thanks for your advice!

Click Bleed. Pleaz help!

Hi, I am bouncing keyboard tracks down to a click track for a live performance on Pro Tools. I pan the click all the way to the left and all the keyboards to the right but when I bounce the mix the click still bleeds through to the right! It's driving me crazy. Can anyone help?
