you say you only came to PR the one time?? haha Actually the shoulder is ONLY for passing, if your car breaks down you leave it in the middle of the road. The shoulder is also the only part of the road that has no pot holes. Also, the cops will stop to eat tasty chicken or other roadside greasebombs...

etc. every 5 minutes i would see a driving move that shocked me. I think my favorite traffic violation, and a common one here, is when a cop car pulls up to a red light, turns the siren on, cruises through the light then immediately turns the siren off and goes on his/her merry way hahaha talk abou...

Not to be dark or anything, but sometimes you just have to move on. If your source is really THAT quiet, then perhaps a quieter mic with a higher output would be better-suited to the source at hand. I hear ya, the thing is, the sources aren't that quiet. I have the mic 6" from the grill on a 80 Wat...

A Beyer Ribbon and a Pre to love it

Hello all, I just got a Beyer M260DX and have been using it through a Sytek and a RNP which work fine for loud sources but not nearly enough gain for acoustic guitars/voice/strings. So my question is- what high gain pre's can you suggest i try out. I was looking at the Grace 101. I'd like to spend b...

Currently i have no way to adjust the volume so i've been monitoring from the Digi002 (awful awful) to a pair of Mackie HR824's. I'm going to pick up a Big Knob next week. I agree the central Station looks quite nice but at $650 with remote it is about twice what i have to spend. As for Waves,...

ahh thanks for the reply. Yeah I was afraid of that. Nothing worse than getting a new piece and finding out you need to shell out another $300-500 to get something else to make it work. I thought that only happened with Waves plugins. ooh!

I recently installed OMS on my mac to run in Classic Mode. It won't recognize the 002r as a midi i/o device. Do you know if there is any way of getting it recognized or do i just have to buy another device?
