I had a similar problem as a result of playing pedal steel in a rehearsal room with a really sloped floor. My right side was much too high which caused my shoulder to be oddly twisted and too high..... I developed a tingling numbness in my right hand that would not go away. First, I quit rehearsing ...

Congratulations.... I have a 62 Bassman that is pretty fabulous for both bass and guitar. I don't play bass live, just in the studio. I am running an open back 2X10 cab....
