EMERGENCY: Hard Drive / Pro Tools Question
I am fairly illiterate when it comes to stuff like this, but I need some help. My band recorded an album this past summer doing all the overdubs / mixes on Pro Tools (Mac based). I believe it was version 6.1 and OS9. At the end of the sessions, we saved everything to an external HD. This past week w...

Pro Tools LE 5.1 - Bounce to Disk problems
Ok. I finish a mix. I bounce to disk. I have tried bouncing to stereointerleaved WAV. I have tried bouncing to stereo AIFF. 16 bit 44100. Once the track is bounced it wont play on my computer. Windows Media says "class not registered". I try to burn it to cd and Roxio Easy CD 5 wont read it. HELP! I...

Electrical question regarding guitar pedals
Okay. I have the following: (1) Russian Big Muff pedal (1) DOD chorus pedal and (1) Power adaptor (with the multiple voltage settings and several different types of connection jacks including a 9V battery simulated jack extension) Here is my question: Is it possible to connect both pedals to the sam...

Re: Has anyone had a good experience with anything Berhinger
I have one of the B-1s and I actually like it alot for my acoustic guitar.
I also have one of the KX1200s (4 channel mixer/amp) that crapped out right as the one year warranty expired. That has pretty much cinched my never purchasing Behringer equipment again.

Re: Syncing up drum machine with digi001
One more suggestion - check the midi beat clock in PT. Make sure it is enabled and set to your 001. Thinking again about my last response, the channels should not matter because you are not transfering anything other than a midi clock tempo. Just make sure you have the drum machine sync set to exter...

Re: Syncing up drum machine with digi001
Make sure that you have the midi channels lined up. The drum machine will have a channel number (1-16) - Pro Tools has to be set to send to that channel or you can set it to send to "all" channels. There is also a midi thru function that might be switched on. I am at my office right now, but I will ...

Re: Bulk Dump / SysEx into Pro Tools
Thanks for the help.
I have never performed a bulk dump before and am fairly new to this crazy world of midi. Thus I am a little nervous about transferring all this info onto a midi track to back up all of my patches stored in my synth.

Bulk Dump / SysEx into Pro Tools
Ok. So I am trying to make a back up of all of my patches and performance settings from my Roland JP8000 synth. Can I record a bulk dump / SysEx onto a midi track in Pro Tools (digi 001) to do this? Is there a better or easier way?
Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

ProTools Buffering Error Message
Scenario: while trying to play back audio after cutting and pasting tracks in protools, I get an error message telling me to DECREASE the H/W buffering size in the hardware setup. I do this. I then try the play back again and I get an error message telling me to INCREASE the H/W buffering size. So o...
